Database instance is not running on the nodes

Hi,

I have a RAC setup. The storage is a SUSE machine and nodes are on windows 2000.
The name of the nodes is rac1 and rac2.
Currently when i run the command to check the status of the database i get the following error.

srvctl status database -d pelprod

Instance PELPROD1 is not running on node rac1
Instance PELPROD2 is not running on node rac2

The status of ASM and Nodeapps is running.

How to resolve this issue.
