Database Hanging

Hi Gurus...

Today in the morning one of my database was hanging and could not logging to the database using sqlplus.

When I try to logging into the database the sqlplus just hang and I get this error in the arlet log file:

Timed out trying to start process J000.

What was the cause of the problem?

Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
