Hello All,
Our unix team has carried an OS level upgrade on a production linux server. We relinked the GI and Database binaires
which went all well. Started the Grid Services and while starting the database it started with pfile which was
present in dbhome_1/dbs location. Not sure, why it picked up the pfile instead of spfile . I have verified the spfile
is available on ASM at the same location with the same name before shutting the services.
Database Version : 11.2.0.4
Linux OS - RHEL 6.8 Santiago.
I have tried searching out for any post or documents related to it but could not find any.Will be really greatful If anyone
share info on the above issue.
