Database Discoverer User Privileges
Hi All,
Could a forum user please clarify for me the privileges that a newly created database user would require to login and run reports from a Discoverer Desktop, i have a requirement to setup a database user and not an applicatiosn user account.
For example, currently we have a an non application user EUL created with the database user 'eulowner'. This database user has complete access which im sure is always the case with the initiating of a new eul set up.
Could you also confirm if the user eulowner should not be able to connect to disco plus/desktop? I cannot return the user within the security tab within admin, and recieve the message "you do not have access to end user layer tables eul owner"
Please accept my apologies if i have missed anything out, i've not worked in many environments where we have required a non apps user set up before.
