Database differences between 11.1 and 11.2
Our shop is now starting the process of upgrading our database environment from 10.2.0.4 (EE) to Oracle 11g. As part of the process, we are checking with our vendors to ensure they are compatible with 11g. One of our larger application providers has said they are compliant/certified with Oracle 11.1, but not with Oracle 11.2. They are not even sure when they are going to certify with 11.2 as it took them a long time to get certified with 11.1
Can anyone tell me what we would lose by going with 11.1 as opposed to 11.2? I really don't want to go with 11.1 since 11.2 is out and I'm looking for some strong ammunition I can use in my argument.
