Database Configuration Assistant has all options greyed out / ODAC installation

GeorgDanglJan 14 2015 — edited Jan 29 2015

Hello,

I'm trying to get ODAC installed in our 11.2.0.1.0 database on Windows Server 2008 but so far, I have been unable to do so.

I first tried installing it with the install.bat file included with the download, but to no success.

Now, when I try to add the Oracle Database Extensions for .NET via the Database Configuration Assistant, I can not select ANY componenets at all for installation or removal.

I do the following:

In Step 1, I select "Configure Database Options"

In Step 2, I select the correct Database "ORCL" and enter my SYSDBAs username & password

In Step 3, ALL options are greyed out. I can not select or deselect anything.

I think I might have broken something when I tried to install ODAC via the install.bat, but what?

The Database itself runs fine, I just had to restart the listener service.

I'd really apreciate any help you could provide me, thanks!
