Database and server restart

I am using Oracle 11g in IBM P7 AIX 6.1 environment. My database size is 3.5 TB. It is serving 24/7 with online transaction.

I would like to ask. Is there any benefit to restart Oracle Database periodically If yes , Then how often in a year.

Another question regarding IBM P7 server restart regarded, Is there any benefit to restart the server periodically If yes , Then how often in a year.
