Data Warehouse and Data Mining

Hi

I studied that Data Warehouse is a copy of integrated data.
in the same way is data mining is the part of the copy of Data Warehouse?
i mean if i develop a Data Mining from Data warehouse, does Data Mining occupy again some more space?
