Data migration over SAN

Hi All,

We have Oracle database 10g RAC, which is in production currently. Now we have a task of data migration from older SAN to new one since we are running out of space and also the older SAN is out of support from vendor.

I wanted to know what would be impact of this data migration on oracle DB. We are migrating data from SAN to SAN using third party software.

What changes would be required from oracle config side to ensure everything works fine. Please share your thoughts. (Please advise for disk config over RAW device,Oracle ASM and NFS )
