Data Masking, how effectively can be done using golden gate? Pro's and cons

I have a requirement to sync non-prod environment with PROD data volume, while sync I also need to mask the sensitive data. Currently we are using Golden Gate to sync our new PROD with OLD prod environment and we need to know if we can use golden gate to mask the data and sync our non prod environments? Any inputs are greatly appreciated.
