Data guard on 9i an 10g

Hi,

I have Oracle 9.2.0.5 and 10.2.0.1 enterprise edition that separate server and I plan to set DR site and use Data Guard to sync data.

My question Can it implement in this environment? and Have any concern on Oracle 9i or 10g?

My concern is Oracle 9i that is obsolete but my customer not need to upgrade.

Please advise.
