I am using Data Modeler version 18.1. When importing a data dictionary, the Select All/Select None buttons don't work when choosing which DB objects to import. This means that each individual table/view/etc must be selected one by one. When there are hundreds that must be included, this is a physically painful task to check each and every box manually. I tried selecting all the entries and clicking one checkbox, hoping the others would be populated, but this didn't work either.
I found another post where someone reported this for version 4.2, but there were no responses: Data Dictionary Import Bug in 4.2?
Edited to add: I found a workaround. This only occurs when, during step 2, the import options are used to select only a subset of object types. If this is left as default (i.e. all object types are available to import during step 3), the Select All/Select None buttons work during step 3.
