Integration

Hi Guys,

i was working on boundaries lately and have a little problem with dash-dot-lines.

somehow none of the 3 possibilities seems acceptable.
here's what i tried:

1 - .png created and under the use of marker patterns implemented in a line (doesn't look good at all...)
2 - vector and line combined and under the use of marker patterns implemented in a line (problem: when lines end or cross)
3 - center line and dash patterns (most promising, just slight problems when lines cross etc.)

i was just wondering whether we don't have anything out of the box. maybe you guys can help me out...
