Daily/Weekly/Monthly DBA Task/Check List

Hi,
I googled a lot and was unsuccessful to find any relevant article describing sort of Daily/Weekly/Monthly DBA task check apart from doc. published by Thomas B. Cox.
A DBA starting his day at work, what are things he should be looking at, as in proactive maintenance of the database, memory, backups, performance, etc.
