Daily duties as Oracle production DBA & developer DBA

I am curious about what you do daily as Oracle production DBA or developer DBA. I became DBA more than a year ago and before that I was PL/SQL developer. I have browse through Administrator’s guide and now in the middle of Oracle database concepts. Next I am planning to read backup and recovery. As my daily job: I check backup log file. Check db objects and make sure all are valid and check free space on each tablespace and add data files if needed. Also monitor top session or top sqls through OEM and tried to tune top sqls. Answer users’ requests such “kill a hanging session” and sync data of a table between databases and refresh QA db from production env. Sometimes look into alert log too if we experience some issues. Some person suggests me to TKPROF each trace file to found out why the trace file be generated. Do you think it is really beneficial? What else I should do to improve skills and capabilities as an Oracle DBA. Really appreciate your insights.
