Daily delete and disk space growth

Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64bi

We are maintaining only one week of data in our Production data base. It means that every day we are deleting data that are older than one week. The statistics are then re-calculated every day.

But it seems that the disk space of our data base is growing day after day. Is this a normal behaviour? do we need to do an extra work (in addition to the statistics) in order to have a stable disk space ?
