DAC Issue

Guys,

My DAC db server (dacrep) crashed and we had to move the DAC repository database to a different database host. So I need to update the DAC Client and DAC Server properties to point to the new database host.

So I updated the DAC Client connection properties successfully and was able to get in successfully. Now updated the DAC Server management properties as well and while I save and try to start my server its still not picking up the new host. It fails saying that its unable to connect to the old host.

Also the new database host is a SQL Server running on dynamic port instead of the static default port (1433). So not sure where else I need to update to reflect to the new host.

Please advice guys,

I am using DAC 10.1.3.4
