CVS issue: file status never updated!

3640Nov 6 2002
Hi all,

I am struggling with (yet another) CVS issue:
No matter what I do, all my files now appear with the little asterisk icon, as if they were locally modified.
However, when I check their status, they are marked as "up-to-date".
I have tried every source control action I know of: performing an update, forcing a commit, deleting the directory and checking out the project again, nothing seems to change the issue: all my file are still displayed as locally modified.

Any Idea what could be causing this?

Could this be linked to switching to winter time?
When I was using 902, I noticed that the CVS directories contained a file named Jdev, which contained what seemed to be a time difference. When the file was missing (after creating a new directory for instance) the IDE would exhibit strange behaviour relating to source control.
It seems that this file is not used in jdev 903 anymore am I right?

Note: I am now using jdev 903 (production) on windows XP Pro

any help?
Thanks in advance,
Remi
