Hello,

I would like to make some questions regarding the below vulnerabilities:

bounds check bypass (CVE-2017-5753) - Spectre

branch target injection (CVE-2017-5715) - Spectre

rogue data cache load (CVE-2017-5754) – Meltdown

In our product we use Solaris 10u11 with SUN Netra X4270 with Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU, L5518 and SUN Netra X3-2 with Intel(R) Xeon(R) E5-2658 CPU.

According to Intel, Intel® Xeon® processor 5500 series and Intel® Xeon® Processor E5 Family  are affected by these vulnerabilities.

Can you please inform us what is Oracle plan regarding these vulnerabilities? Will there be some new patch releases in close future?

Thank you and best regards,

Konstantina
