Customize IG look and feel

Hi All,

Using APEX 5.1.4 with universal theme. I am trying to customize IG and John Snyders articles helped me to an extent shown below.

I need to make the IG look and feel more compact to suit my overall UI design.

  1. Need to get rid of the areas highlighted in the red box.

  2. Need to reduce the height of the header and the button size

  3. Need to reduce the records row height as well

Please advise how to go about it, the JavaScript documentation is lacking.
