Customising the Color Scheme

db12345Mar 13 2018 — edited Mar 14 2018

Hi,

I have an install of Forms 12.2.1.3 using Java Webstart. Previously we were using LookAndFeel=Generic, but I want to change to using Oracle so that color can be used to indicate dev/test/production.

This works fine except for the title bar on a sub window when its not active. For example, using Teal with an active window it appears in a dark green background with white text, take the focus away and it switches to a very light teal background and grey text. This makes it rather unreadable.

I've tried each color schema and they all do something similar, ie: for red,  the background goes from a deep/dark red to a light salmon.

Is there a simple way to resolve this or is a custom color scheme required. I did some basic tests using the sample custom color scheme and the light setting appears to be the culprit.

If the best solution is a custom color scheme, are the definitions for the teal/red/etc available so that they can be used as a starting point.

Regards

Daniel
