Custom SSO integration with SiteMinder : Logout issue

We are integrating SiteMinder SSO with Sites , So we have implemented CustomAutheticator which does the required login/logout functionality.

Login functionality is working fine . However even after invalidating session and removing cookies in performLogoutAction method, Logout functionality is not working.

As per the SiteMinder documentation we have to configure LogOffUri , Appreciate if anyone can share any additional information about this.
