Custom short names like C1#, C2#,C3#,C4# and C5# are not working in EPMA HFM application - 11.1.2.4

Hello All,

I am currently working on EPMA HFM application in 11.1.2.4 version with FIVE custom dimensions. I was trying to call custom members in the rules file using traditional custom dimension syntax in the rule file using C1#, C2# etc. As soon as I load rules to the HFM application, I keep getting invalid syntax if I have any custom dimensions in the rule file.

Eg :

HS.Exp "A#1020.C4#REOpenBal = A#E1120.Y#Prior.P#Last.C4#TopRF"  --> Gives syntax error

HS.Exp "A#1020.RFActivity#REOpenBal = A#E1120.Y#Prior.P#Last.RFActivity#TopRF" --> Gets through and was able to see data moving in the application as per this rule.


Can anyone tell me if it's a must to use full custom dimension names in the rules or is there anything I am doing wrong?
