I have followed this guidance from Oracle Help to display and control a text input on an interview page:

In the debugger, all looked good (1st screenshot debugger.jpg) but when deployed, the border around the first question (the one with custom properties) has gone, and the input has reverted to a very narrow box (2nd screenshot deployed.jpg), rather than the size of the other inputs, which I had specifically stretched.
