Custom PDF Reports in Oracle APEX

Hi Everyone,

Environment - Oracle APEX 20.2.

Database - 19c

We are trying to migrate few RDF reports from Oracle Reports to APEX.

Using htp package in PLSQL Dynamic Content region, I have made a custom report but it is not getting formatted (page-breaks etc.,) when I try to print as PDF.

I have the following questions,

  1. With the current native PDF printing, is it possible to build a group above or master-detail reports in APEX without any additional plugins?
  2. In the higher versions/upcoming releases can we expect a advanced PDF reporting from APEX reports.
  3. For Free PDF reporting - should I still follow this decade old video https://vimeo.com/55818132 or is there any better way available apart from AOP & BIP.
