I did post something similiar in the HRMS forum, but after further thought, i think it is best directed to this forum.

In your experience do you know if it’s possible for a Custom HR Security Profile to use Assignment-Level Security when used to report on data through Discoverer. Currently I’m able to get my custom security profile to limit data returned in Discoverer to a particular level, however if a person has more than 1 active assignment, both are returned, when only 1 assignment actually matches my conditions. I've since gone back to the basics and can see that this problem is still there even when I define the following simple condition in the Custom Security Profile:

ASSIGNMENT.assignment_id = '14444'

With the above in place, 2 assignments for that person are still returned. I have also tried checking the 'Restrict on Individual Assignments' option without any luck. When the above HR security profile is assigned to a responsibility which calls the people & assignments form, only the one active assignment is returned which is correct. Therefore it must be something related to discoverer, my custom used views etc...

Has anyone any ideas?
