Custom Authentication

Hi,
I'm new to html db and trying to use my own procedure for authentication. I don't know what value I should put in page sentry in authentication schema page. If I left it blank the login page doesn't show up. And I don't want to put -DATABASE- since I want my function to be evaluated. Help ...
