Custom attribute is not appearing in 'Multi-view Available Refinements' component

Dear Gurus,

I have defined few custom attributes in EBS Endeca Information Discovery and I am able to view these custom attributes in the Views, Results Tables etc.

But the some of these attributes are not appearing under 'Multi-view Available Refinements' component to search the data quickly.

Could you please suggest how to resolve this issue? I would like to see all the custom attributes under 'Multi-view Available Refinements' component.
