Cursor Vs Pl/Sql table

Hi All,

I wanted to know which is better for good performance results among
Cursor and Pl/Sql table.
Because both can be used to store temporary data for manipulation.
I am not sure which will be the best if i have to select chunk of data from a large pile of data.

Any suggestion is appreciable.
