Cursor Focus Issue when navigating using mouse

Hi all

When i move from one record to another in a tabular block using the mouse the cursor moves to the next record but the focus(the current record indicator ) does not move to the other records.

I have some field validations which do not fire when i navigate to other records using the Mouse.
The functionality works fine when i am navigating using the Key-Board.

Please tell me why does the focus not move to the other records as well when i navigate using the Mouse
