Oracle Forms

Dear Members,

I have a Master Detail Form based on a custom table. For one master record i have 5 to 10 detail records.

Suppose if i have 5 records in master block and there are around 10 records for each master record in the detail block. If i go to the detail section and click on any one of the field and then try to go to the corresponding master record and click on that, the cursor goes to the first master record.

For example :

Suppose we have 5 master records and I am in the detail records corresponding to the master record number 5. Now when i try to go to master record number 5 by clicking on it, the cursor does not remain on the 5th record in the master block rather it goes to the first record in the master block.

I do not have any idea what property is forcing the cursor to default to the first record in the master block.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If this Message is read by Tony Garabedian , i want to tell you that i did post this question in the E-Business Suite Forum and did not get much help from them. So i thought to post this in the Forms Forum. I am Sorry i am posting this in this forum. I do understand Behaviour of Form is different in E-Business Suite. But the questions what ever i asked here and the replies that i got fixed most of my problems.
