CSS breaking after upgrading Apex Version

Hi All,

We are currently considering upgrading our Apex version from 20.1 to 24.2

We also observed that CSS breaks in most pages when the “Refresh Theme” button is pressed after the application is imported into the newer environment.

Please recommend if Refreshing Theme is an absolute must? Or can we keep the current version of the theme on a newer version of Apex for some period?

Also, is there an easy way of fixing these CSS issues after migration to a newer version?
