Cscading parameter does not return a value in APEX 5.1 Mobile Form

I'm using APEX 5.1. I'm using a form on a table. I have a cascading parameter for and item. This works fine in the desktop version, but in the mobile version the cascading parameter returns no values. Am I missing something or does this not work?

I have two item Field and Variety. when I select the field using the desktop form I get the Variety planted on that field. In the mobile version the variety field is blank after I select the field item.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
