Crosstab using Pivot Table?

712535Jul 17 2009 — edited Jul 20 2009
Before I tried this I would have bet good money it was a piece of cake. I still think it should be a piece of cake, but I can't figure it out.

I have a row of 9 individually calculated values:

1A 1B 1C 2A 2B 2C 3A 3B 3C

And I need them to display like this:

1A 1B 1C
2A 2B 2C
3A 3B 3C

In detail, the letters represent "Current Year", "Previous Year", "Difference" and the numbers are labels of what the values represent. It made sense to me that I could create column headings for the values, table headings for the years, move the measure labels to rows and somehow break the rows by the table headers. Nope, not working.

This seems like a common function to me and maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I'm hoping someone can either give me a subtle nudge in the right direction or clearly spell out the solution.

Thanks!
