Creating TXT file with Header & Trailer From Existing Report

Can anyone please show me how to get APEX Application to spit out a .txt file which will have a header and trailer information along with the report. Working on a project where information is entered via APEX and the report is unloaded into a Notepad specific format to be uploaded into SAP.

Looking for a better automated way of doing this. See sample below. the first row is the column head, second is the header, then the body(report) and finally the trailer at the bottom.

Note: the Header and trailer information are preformated texts and calculations.
