Creating Temp Tablespace in Physical Standby DB

540301Oct 2 2009 — edited Oct 2 2009
Hi DBAs,

I have setup the datagurad (physical standby) for single instance to single instance. After I setup the dataguard, I noticed that the temp table space was not created at physical standby as I was not provided the tempfiles for temp table space and I just created the standby control files, mount the database and put it in RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY . I verified it is missing the temp table space.

Please advise - How can I create the temp tablespace at standby. I am using 10.2.0.4 on RHEL 5.1.

Thanks
-Samar-
