we are in the midst of an OBIEE migration from our current Cognos tools, and we haven't setup RPD or Datawarhouse yet. We are using the Direct Database Request-method. Now we often encounter problems that in the OBIEE report, we want to add subtotals for certain columns, but that is only possible if we add certain columns as well.
E.g: we want to create a subtotal per period and per state for the amount-columns, but we can only do that when we insert the columns period and State in the report itself. If we remove these columns, we can't make the subtotal via this DDR-connection.
Is there any workaround with this DDR-method to still create subtotal without having these columns in the report?
We are using OBIEE 11.1.1.7.151020.
