creating graphic GIF on the fly

hi everyone,

i found out a site where gif are created on the fly. (see http://integrals.wolfram.com/index.en.cgi). all we users need to type in calculus integral equatation, it generates the answer in GIF format. And it makes me wonder how it could do that. anyone who want to share such a appealing trick ?
