Creating an Oracle ODBC connection to an Oracle database 18c XE

Hi,
on my local machine with Windows 10 64-bit I've installed the Oracle database 18c XE. I'm a beginner about it. I need to create an Oracle ODBC connection in order to accomplish some proofs for a my application.
I've tried to use the info present in the tnsnames.ora file in the path C:\oracle_database\product\18.0.0\dbhomeXE\network\admin, but I've obtained an error.
Any suggests to me in order to specify the right data required for an ODBC connection, please? Thanks
