Creating a Excel data load feature within a page?

Hi there,

While building a new application we have the option from a DB or from a excel file. I chose DB. However, I want to add a button that helps user to select file from hard drive(if that is possible) and then the data gets loaded into the table.

Any suggestions. I am exploring the options, but since I am new, still struggling a bit.
