Karanbir Dhillon-OracleDec 18 2007 — edited Dec 19 2007
I have tried with two ISO Images one Enterprise Linux and one XP. When go through Steps in Oracle VM Manager to create a Virtual Image it fails right away with below Errors. Doing Fully Virtualized :-

1. Get VNC Port: karanxp failed:<Exception: failed:<Exception: xm list 16_karanxp=>Error: Domain '16_karanxp' does not exist. >> Dec 18, 2007 3:22:57 PM Error

2. HVMINstallation: karanxp failed:<Exception: failed:<Exception: virt-install hvm usbtablet name=16_karanxp ram=2048 vcpus=1 mac=00:16:3E:1C:4E:85 bridge=xenbr0 file /OVS/running_pool/16_karanxp/System.img file-size=20 vnc vnclisten=0.0.0.0 vncpasswd=/tmp/tmpeHSX2K noautoconsole keep-cdrom --cdrom=/OVS/iso_pool/OBIXP/XP.iso=>usage: virt-install [options] virt-install: error: no such option: --hvm >> Dec 18, 2007 3:22:52 PM Error

I saw few threads on it and I have installed the RPM tightvnc-java-1.3.9-3 on both the machines one running Oracle VM Server and Oracle VM Manager but no luck.

Thanks
-Karan
