Create Report From Procedure

Apex Version 24.1

I have been tasked with converting a load of Jasper Reports into Apex.

It seems the the Jasper reports are created by a database procedure returning a refcursor.

Apex does not have an option of prodecure as a data source for reports

Can anybody point me to some examples of how to overcome this issue
