Create formatted EXCEL report

Hi,

I am using APEX 5 with ORDS 3 and Tomcat 7.

I have a requirement to create well formatted reports.

I am able to create xsl:fo templates and export reports in PDF format without any problems.

My question is, can I do the same for EXCEL or WORD ? Or is it only possible using BI Publishe?

Any help is highly appreciated.
