Create default thesaurus

647873Jul 1 2008 — edited Jul 2 2008
Please pardon my lanuguage as I do not speak English natively.

I have searched Google but cannot find the information I desire. There are many pages of informations, but nothing short and sweet I can follow simply.

I have oracle 10.2 on Red Hat ES 5. I would like to create a default thesuarus, and the documents say to use ctxload to do this with a supplied textfile called (I remember) dr0thsus.

I cannot find no such document on my server. I also unsure how to run ctxload, as this will be a first time for me.

Can you tell me (1) where is the textfile that will create the deafult thesuarus and (2) what command do I use? For instance, do I run ctxload as user sys, ctxsys or someone else? (3) what table is used to store the thesaurus so that (4) what may I query to see what is inside a thesaurus?

I am most grateful for assistance, or links to documents that explain these things in a way I can follow.
