The objective is an ERD for an existing Oracle DB in Aqua Data Studio. The ERD from ADS isn't usable at all.
SQL developer can connect to the DB with the credentials ADS uses but shows no tables, says I don't have the privileges. Go figure ... ADS shows the tables, generates the ERD which frankly is a dogs breakfast.
SSMS by comparison -- very easy. I can create a DB, read a script, generate the diagram. Done. SQL Developer isn't made with this simplicity, I'm sorry.
I have a file generated from ADS that can be read by Oracle SQL Developer (OSD) if this is possible. I can't find how to do this. Again, with SSMS, I'd be done already -- about as fast as it takes to write this inquiry.
is it possible with OSD to do this?
Where is a simple link to do this that does NOT involve creating Oracle Cloud, etc.
I just need a SIMPLE link to what should be half a dozen steps to accomplish this. As you can see I'm not a happy camper so far.
