Create an attribute userPrincipalName in AD

We have an attribute userPrincipalName which has the value UserId concatenate With @abcd.com.
This attribute we are not storing in OIM. We have to it store directly in AD. How can I create an Adapter so that it stores that value directly in AD.
Can anyone suggest me how can I do it ?
