We would like the ability to access Config Assistant using a View‑Only role, primarily so we can review the SRS rules under the Event Management Rules tab. Full access to Config Assistant is not appropriate for our users, even in the test environments, as it would allow them to modify critical settings such as user access configurations and other system‑level controls.
Although the consulting team created a View‑Only role for us, it negatively impacted access in NMS. With that role applied, even users logging into NMS as View‑Only were still able to modify global settings in Global Formatting and Global Preferences.
We opened SR 4‑0001371160, but the response indicated that a View‑Only Config role is not supported.
