Create a new element dynamically in select list and select it

Hi Experts,

I created a select list containing the list of categories, with a -New Categorie- item that allows me to create a new category, using another modal dialog page 2.

My need:

How can i refresh and select the new category created, once i close the modal page 2?

You can see demo on apex.oracle.com with this credentials:

Workspace: ws_formation

Username: asoukaina

Password: azerty123

I used the Application 23524 - Refresh selectList
