CR/LF from XSLT
In putting up some quick XSQL pages, we want to give users the option of downloading comma-separated variable text. The page so generated has LF line terminators, which IE 6 knows how to save as CR/LF, but Netscape 7 doesn't. Plugging in a "&#D;" simply results in an extra LF; this appears to be the correct behavior from my cursory reading of the w3c specs.
Any suggestions, other than Let them use IE?
