We installed Oracle Linux 7.1 with last patchset and kernel in a vmware virtual machine.
We see in OS that the whole System uses only one socket of cpu. Not only database. we make some stresstest and all processes use only first socket.
VMware is configured with two sockets and 4 core per socket.
Is there any configuration on oracle OS that we must activate second socket ?
